Export Diversification in Response to Energy Sanctions

This study examines the combined effects of energy sanctions and trade tariffs on Iran, a semi-open, energy-export-dependent economy, addressing an underexplored empirical puzzle regarding their long-term distributional impacts. Utilizing a computable general equilibrium (CGE) model with an Armington structure, the analysis investigates how these policies disrupt intersectoral dynamics, trade balances, and income distribution.
